Katamama Hotel, Bali

Welcome to Brick Paradise

Without a doubt one of the hippest hotels around at the moment in Bali.

Katamama attracts a certain artsy international clientele, mainly for its contemporary, yet old-school Indonesian design. However, also due to its perfect location at the edge of Seminyak, close to Canggu, just behind the very popular Potato Head which everyone refers to as a must-go-to place (although I wouldn’t necessarily agree).

Katamama is built out of 1.5 million bricks which makes up the entire building, artsy I know, and pretty damn cool too. The location is as good as it gets if you still want to be in Seminyak, meaning you’ll have great proximity to restaurants, bars, and le beach (steps away).

Katamama’s restaurant Movida is phenomenal, an awesome place to come for dinner if you’re a bit fed up with the Bali spices and crave those Spanish flavours. The cuisine is classic Spanish; tapas, paella, you know the drill. And the cocktails are hard to drink at a responsible pace, solely thanks to their award-winning mixologist, phenomenal to say the least!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Seminyak with trendy cool people around you, this is defo the one. And if some other hotel is lucky to have you as their guest, it’s still a great place to pop by for dinner after catching the sunset at Potato Head!

Enjoy kind peeps! Hope it helps x
