Safari South Africa Done Right

It is no secret that South Africa has long been attracting people in swathes because of its natural beauty and wildlife. But what if I told you there was a better way to do it?!

Typically people will book one of the many $1000+ per night per person safaris and end up seeing a ton of wildlife which is great. The downside, however, is that you also end up being grouped together with a bunch of other tourists, and find yourself having to follow the strict rules that the game ranger you get chooses.

Now I’m not saying this is bad, (cause being safe on Safari is totally important and should be taken seriously), we’re just saying there is a way to do it better. I recently took a trip to one of our partner Private Nature Reserves (which has been owned by my family for 30 yrs) in South Africa and I couldn’t recommend it more…. obviously!

Now, unlike the commercial reserves, Keta Private Nature Reserve does not have lion and leopard roaming around everywhere. It actually doesn’t have any lion at all! But what it does offer is a truly intimate wildlife experience, where you can really enjoy some freedom and escape from the busy world we live in as well as the many people we share it within our daily lives!

The reserve offers all the African wildlife there is to see except for Lion and now, unfortunately, no Rhinocerous either. And although these are what attract many tourists to Nature Reserves, the exclusion of these is actually what allows this place to be so special and thrive as it does.

Hop in the car with your loved one(s) and personal game ranger and be treated to an authentic and flexible wildlife experience. The landscapes are truly breathtaking and the amount of wildlife on offer is in no short supply! Let’s not forget the beautifully designed camps where you have your own private chalet nestled in the bush!

Enjoy world-class food, mountaintop dinners, fishing in the dam and even some clay pigeon shooting if it tickles your fancy! In short, this place is beautiful and will give you an experience that is hard to find anywhere else. If you’re still unsure take just watch the video of my most recent trip down there and I’m sure you’ll change your mind!

Hope you guys enjoyed the article and decide to go!

Peace & Love as always!
