Clifton Beaches

The famous white sand Clifton beaches in Cape Town always make for a perfect day at the beach!

The Famous Clifton Beaches are a must for anyone visiting Cape Town In the summer, or actually even in the winter seeing as the weather is pretty much always awesome in Africa!

Parking for the respective beaches is found along Victoria road wherever you can find it! There are usually car guards to help you for a small tip so keep an eye out! However, when choosing which of the beaches to choose there are a few useful things to know!

Clifton 1st: The least crowded of the Clintons, often full of locals and old-timers trying to avoid crowding and tourists alike. It’s a beautiful beach overlooked by apartments but lacks that cosiness found on the other Clintons!

Clifton 2nd: Second beach is great for catching some rays and playing bat and ball etc without having to deal with too many people!

Clifton 3rd: Third beach has long been a popular gay beach so expect lots of speedos and topless ladies!

Clifton 4th: Finally fourth beach, the beach tucked away in the cove nearest Camps bay is by far the trendiest and most popular beach in the summer! Expect lots of young beachgoers and families alike as it has a nearby car park and ablution blocks!

P.s Be sure to try the famous Granadilla lollies for sale on the beach, you can’t miss them!

P.p.s Try not to leave any valuables lying around in your car or on the beach! Its safe in Cape Town but petty theft takes place everywhere in the world people!
