Cambridge Street Kitchen create some exceptionally good food from the finest locally sourced ingredients, ever-changing with the British seasons.
That means no two visits will ever be the same, there is always something new to try! Hats off to the head chef, he’s set a high standard and doesn’t let it drop!
This building was once an old Victorian boozer, and they’ve kept true to the building’s heritage while modernizing and bringing it into the modern era with a bang! The restaurant itself is snug and cosy, with a very rustic vibe. It’s a comfortable spot to chill and eat, and the food is superb; really modern and fresh, but with a homely feel to it, it wouldn’t be out of place in a Michelin restaurant!
But you don’t have to stop by for a full sit-down meal – they’re open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner, so drop in for a coffee and a snack on your way past, you won’t regret it. Check out their relaxing Club Room filled with squishy sofas and a log-burning fire. It’s super cosy! Join them on a Saturday for their Bottomless Brunch – £35 for food and unlimited Prosecco, Mimosas and Bloody Marys? Yes, please!
If you’re heading over later at night, make sure you check out their sister bar down below – the Clarendon Cocktail Cellar. This gem of a bar hand-crafts art-inspired cocktails which can be enjoyed with their ever-changing art exhibitions, curated through a partnership with the Lawrence Alkin Gallery. Like the food upstairs, this bar is forever changing with the seasons, it’s all so fresh and current.
They also create movie-themed cocktails that will make you smile. A taste of Ron Burgundy, anyone?
