The Vineyard Hotel is a charming blend of new and old, nestling in its peaceful gardens beneath the unmissable devil’s peak.
Once home to the Lady Anne Bernard, notable Scottish travel writer and artist in the late 18th century, the Vineyard hotel has tastefully renovated and extended this historical house while retaining its charm and charisma. There are even a few artefacts preserved inside, such as some of her original watercolours and writings!
The rooms are spacious and well-furnished, making for a comfortable and relaxing place to absorb the sights and sounds of Cape Town. Indeed, the Vineyard is home to a wonderful landscaped garden, with glorious fountains and a stunning grapevine-covered walkway. This space of pure tranquility is right beneath the imposing Table Mountain, an awe-inspiring and unmissable landmark of Cape Town! And if you’re not relaxed enough by the surroundings enjoy the company of tortoises and peacocks frolicking in the garden!
With three restaurants run by incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and passionate staff, the Vineyard is an idyllic spot to enjoy the delights of South Africa. Enjoy a lazy afternoon by the pool, sipping a lovingly prepared cocktail and nibbling on locally sourced foods. It’s so peaceful here!
